Salt Water Chlorinated Pool

Our indoor heated pool is salt water chlorinated. The benefits of salt water are plentiful.

Pool Temperature

Our pool is maintained at a comfortable temperature of 32 degrees for active lessons throughout the year.

Changing Rooms

Our changing rooms and toilet facilities are located conveniently next to the pool and they are heated and comfortable.

Baby Changing

We provide plenty of changing tables in our heated changing rooms.

Play Area

We have a separate enclosed play area for young children within the pool complex. We also have large safe space outdoors for playing outside the pool complex. This area includes a trampoline that children are welcome to use under adult supervision. There is plenty of space indoors to sit and watch your child's lesson.

Our Swimming Lessons

Children have one lesson a week and are booked in for a course of 10 lessons during a school term. Each lesson runs for 25 minutes, with a 5 minute play time between lessons to ease the transition in and out of the water. We also run weeklong School Holiday Booster Courses.

Weekday lessons during school hours are for children 3 months to 5 years and after school lessons are for children over 4 years old. Weekend lessons are available for all ages (except Baby Play 3-6 months). Please check the appropriate age group below, for information regarding swimming levels, lesson times and prices.

The lessons are designed to match the requirements of your child's swimming ability and we only teach one lesson in the pool at a time to improve learning. All children receive either a progress tracker booklet or certificate which keeps a record of their progress related to the Dolphinz swimming levels.

We provide a free swimming assessment, if required, to ensure we place your child in the correct lesson. We welcome enquiries to discuss lessons and times that will suit you and your child. Our lesson timetable is flexible and changes each term as required.
