Terms & Conditions
Thank you for enrolling in Dolphinz Swim School. Your enrollment is governed by the terms and conditions set out below and on our website. By enrolling with Dolphinz Swim School you are confirming that you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Fee Policy
● All fees are payable by the due date to secure a place in class.
● Enrolment is per term/block course and fees are calculated by term/block period.
● All public/statutory holidays are observed and taken into account within the fee structure.
● Where possible, make-up lessons will be offered for lessons missed due to medical reasons - illness or injuries. Make-up lessons will not be offered for lessons missed for any other reasons..
● Make-up lessons are not carried over from one term to the next.
● The timetable is subject to change from one term to the next. Due to unforeseen circumstances the timetable may also change during the term.
Swimming term and school holiday program bookings
● We begin to take enrolments for the next swimming term, from week 6 of the current swimming term. Please confirm that you are returning for the next term by placing your name on the booking sheets provided, emailing or texting us.
● You are our first priority. We exclusively book children who are already taking lessons as our first priority from week 6 - 8 of a current term.
● Your child/children’s swimming lessons day and time will automatically ‘roll over’ to the next term between weeks 6 - 8 while we are exclusively booking existing clients.
● If you would like to change your day and your time, or your teacher suggests a new day or time for your child, we will do our very best to accommodate you.
● If you have not confirmed with us that you would like to continue your lessons in the next term by week 8, (and if we have a new enquiry, or a child from our waiting list that is interested in booking your child’s time) we will do our best to contact you first, before we take the new booking.

● From week 8 of the current term we begin to take bookings from our waiting list, and any new enquiries.
Class Attendance and Behaviour
● All absences must be communicated to Dolphinz Swim School via text message 020 4185 3735 or email
● Swimmers must be punctual to class, as a warm-up routine is essential and late comers are distracting.
● Regular class attendance is vital for swimmers to develop and progress.
● For hygiene reasons, all swimmers over the age of 4 years old are required to wear swim caps.
● During class swimmers are expected to listen and show respect to their peers and Instructors. Dolphinz Swim School reserves the right to disallow disruptive swimmers the opportunity to participate in the class.
● Dolphinz Swim School reserves the right to expel any swimmer for bullying, swearing, disrespectful behaviour and/or breaches of any of the stated Terms & Conditions. The decision is at the sole discretion of the Owners.
● No food is permitted in the swimming pool area.
● Noise in the Swimming Pool area and Play areas must be kept to a minimum as excess noise can impede both Instructors and swimmers' concentration.
● Parents/caregivers must take all reasonable precautions to keep changing rooms and toilet areas tidy and use it for its intended purpose.
● The trampoline and outdoor play area are available to all children attending the swim school and their siblings, but these areas are not actively supervised by Dolphinz staff. Please supervise your own children on the trampoline and the outdoor playground.

● Any changes to personal details (email address, phone numbers etc) should be provided to Dolphinz Swim School to ensure records are kept up to date.
Safety and Injury Policy
● While Dolphinz Swim School takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes, it accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused during class or while swimmers are on or near Dolphinz Swim School.
● Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child/ren are physically and medically fit for the class.
● Prior to the commencement of class, it is the swimmer's or parents/guardians responsibility to inform their Instructor of any medical condition and/or injury which is being treated or may be of concern.
● In the case of vomit or faeces the pool will have to be closed and treated to ensure hygiene. In such instances swimmers will be offered make-up lessons for classes missed.
● By agreeing to our terms and conditions you accept that Dolphinz Swim School Instructors will need to make physical contact with the swimmers so as to correct or assist their technique, style or stroke.
● Dolphinz Swim School aims to provide a safe environment to reduce the risk of injury. However, as with all sports, swimming is not without its risks and it should be recognised by all swimmers, guardians/parents that participating in swimming classes may result in injury.
● Dolphinz Swim School provides qualified, experienced and well-trained Instructors, who actively promote safety around water. However, it is the swimmer's responsibility to ensure they follow instructions given by their Instructors to avoid
accidents and injuries around water at all times.
● At all times during class, you are responsible for your personal safety and must not conduct yourself in such a way as to put others at risk.
● A First Aid kit is kept on the premises and is available for any student/parent/guardian to use with the permission of the Instructor.
● Running on the premises is strictly prohibited.
● Dolphinz Swim School swimmers are under supervision whilst in class time and in the pool only. Instructors are not responsible for students outside their allocated class time or in the play area or outside the pool.
● It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure their child/ren waits for them in a safe place after lessons have finished.
● Dolphinz Swim School is a non-smoking environment.
